Probably old news by now...

I LOVE the internet and being able to read the news via blogs instead of (in conjunction with) the MSM. Tonight on Lou Dobbs, someone (sorry, can't remember who...was making dinner) made the point that when we were young, there were only 3 major news outlets who reported on the same news items in probably the same order every evening. What we have now...unlimited news at our fingertips...has the power to literally change current events.

{thanks to Goomba for the toon...}

So I am sure this is old news, but I found it say the LEAST!

"The White House is collecting and storing comments and videos placed on its social-networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube without notifying or asking the consent of the site users, a failure that appears to run counter to President Obama's promise of a transparent government and his pledge to protect privacy on the Internet."

Thanks, Obama! Yet ANOTHER promise broken...Still waiting on you to "re-visit" NAFTA!

  1. I think the world would be a lot better off if we went back to "News at 6, film at 11" and that was ALL the news we long as it was NEWS, not the newscaster's opinion or bias on the news!
    As for Obama? They keep finding ways to make doing things like this sound legal; THAT is what scares me!!

  2. Told you, I am waiting for that knock at my door as they must be reading what I am writing. I am not afraid. Just ANGRY!

  3. I really believe it's God's mercy that we have the internet in this age to get the real news out. The Main Stream Media is not CBS, NBC or ABC anymore, they are the fringe. Fox News and those of us who blog are the one's truly reporting the news. We are now the Main Stream Media. Thank you for being a part of the MSM. We need as many people like you as possible to get the news out and witness for Christ. More of the populace believing in Jesus is what will bring our nation back to the good principals we believe in. :)

  4. They have been collecting data, and also they opened a new, not sure of the exact url, but those who visited there were directed to an ACORN site to sign up and serve. But Obama says he has no connections to ACORN, although he was their lawyer and at one time, according to reports, trained them.
